This ceramics class is dedicated to making tea pots and other components that makes a lovely tea set. We will be throwing off the hump in order to make multiple little cups to go with the pots, as well as making spouts, handles, and lids.

In the final class once everything has been fired, we will have a well-deserved tea party using your completed projects.

We will cover:

Week 1: Making the pot body

Week 2: Trimming, adding sprout, handle, and lid

Week 3: Throwing off the hump little cups

Week 4: Trimming cups

Week 5: Glazing

Week6: Tea party to celebrate your creation!

This class is suitable for students who are at a beginner level or higher. It's great for intermediates who are able to centre clay, able to wedge clay, understand the basic logic of ceramics.
